I have had many people ask me questions, Here is a list of the most common.

Q. How/Why did you start this page?

A. I started this page in late 1997, But it wasn't as updated/Complete as it is now. It all started in Late 1993 when I got my mobile phone. I had done a bit of research in to the three networks and decided that VodaFone was the best for me. Being a computer techee I soon discovered/got interested in the tech side of the network. I had no idea it would turn out into a nearly a full time hobby!! Quite a few years latter I would say I have the biggest info data base in my head (and on the web page!!) outside VodaFone.

Q. Do you work for VodaFone Australia?

A. No I don't and never have. Maybe one day VodaFone will stop saying I'm "NOT QUALIFIED ENOUGH" to get a job with them. :-) I think I have proved this after 5 Years of running my site :-)

Q. Do you have the code to unlock Pre-Paid (FAST FONE) handsets?

A. No I don't. Please don't ask me for these codes.

Q. Do you have any code to make free calls, SMS, ETC....

A. No I don't Please don't ask!!

Q. Do you make any money from this site?

A. NO! This is a NON-Profit, NON commercial site. I DO NOT sell anything from this site. Nor do i make any money off it. In reality I lose money by having this site. There are allot of money and time involved in working on and keeping this site going. I do have Ian helping my out with hosting the site which i am grateful. But i do this site TOTALLY for FREE!

Q. What is the point of this site? / What is this site for?

A. The main aim of this site is to provide useful and up to date information on the VodaFone Australia GSM network and Mobile Phones. Also to give VodaFone users a way of communicating with other VodaFone users.

Q. Do you recommend / support Vodafone?

A. Yes i do.... I don't always agree with some things they do.. but on a whole i recommend them.

Q. Is this page bias toward VodaFone AU?

A. No. I try to take a Un-Bias view by presenting the FACTS and letting the view/user make up there own decision.

Q. Are you currently employed? / Do you want a job? / What type of job are you looking for?

A. At the moment I am currently looking for work. If you would like to send me a job offer please E-Mail me. I have been a Computer Tech for over 6 years and have extensive experience. I also have extensive experience with GSM networks (in particular Voda AU as you can guess :-) and Mobile phones.

Q. Does VodaFone pay you to have this site?

A. NO, It is my own PERSONAL site. I do not receive anything in any kind for having this site. I wish Voda would at least acknowledge my site and help with being a bit more forthcoming with non-sensitive info... But i am yet to see this level of help officially.

Q. How may people visit your site per month?

A. Over 3000 unique hits per month, Soon will be over 4000 unique hits per month

A. Yes Please!!! heheheheh :-)

Q. What are all these "members.optushome.com.au/~mrvfone" OR "www.fan.net.au/~mrvfone" addresses?

A. These are address of were my page was located before I got my domain www.mrvfone.com. FAN was taken over by another ISP... Then that ISP went bust. So that's why i had to move from there ;-). It will take ages to go through all my pages and fix all the links with the wrong references.
