November 1997 VodaFone announced 450,000 subscribers
August 1997 Government released VodaFone from Foreign
ownership reduction from 90% to 49% by 2003.
November 1996 VodaFone announced 220,000 subscribers
September 1993 First VodaFone Tower on line at Chatswood
