Fair Use Policy

Features of some plans including free calls between One.Tel Next Generation™ customers (excluding calls from Lime City™users) and free access to One.Tel Cool Services™, SMS and WAP for the first month, are subject to you using the services reasonably. The following sets out what we consider to be the limits of reasonable usage. Excessive usage will attract normal charges.

1. One.Tel to One.Tel Mobile Calls
One.Tel Next Generation Mobile to One.Tel Next Generation Mobile calls are free for the first 20 minutes of the call. Calls of duration longer than 20 minutes will be charged at 5c/30 seconds after 20 minutes has elapsed.

Free One.Tel to One.Tel mobile calls only apply to calls made within Australia for the first 12 months of your connection. Calls made after the first 12 months will be charged at 5c/30 seconds.

Free calls between One.Tel Next Generation customers are available to private customers only. As such a limit of 5 connections per customer/account applies. Customers with 6 or more connections may be charged up to 5c/30 seconds for calls between One.Tel Next Generation Mobiles. Corporate customers should contact our C-LEC team to discuss an appropriate corporate plan. Free Time excludes calls made from Lime City Pre-Paid Mobiles.

2. Your Phone
Your phone must be a compatible phone that operates on 1800MHz. Use of incompatible phones will attract a 25c per 30 seconds roaming surcharge and/or your service may be suspended or disconnected.

3. Manual Network Selection
You must not manually select another carrier’s network on your phone. If you fail to comply with this condition you will be charged a 25c per 30 seconds roaming surcharge and/or your service may be suspended or disconnected.

4. Cool Services
Access to Cool Services Information will be free for up to 200 messages for the first month. Subsequent daily access to Cool Services will be charged at the normal rate per information request.

5. Concierge
Access to Concierge services is free for up to 60 calls for the first month. Subsequent access to Concierge will be charged at the normal rate per connection. Calls connected through Concierge will be charged at the normal plan rates.

6. Taxi
Priority booking of taxis through Cool Services is free for the first 30 calls in the first month. Subsequent calls to the priority taxi service will be charged at the normal rate per call.

7. Who’s Around
Who’s Around is free for the first 30 requests in the first month. Subsequent requests will be charged at the normal rate per request.

8. Email
You can send your first 50 emails free in the first month. Subsequent emails will be charged at the normal rate per message. Receiving emails is free.

9. Digital One
Access to Digital One services will be free for up to 40 hours for the first month. Subsequent access to Digital One services will be charged at the normal rate per 30 seconds.

10. WAP
WAP access is free for up to 40 hours for the first month. Access to WAP over the 40 hours will be charged at the normal rate per 30 seconds.

11. SMS
SMS between One.Tel Next Generation users will be free for up to 200 messages sent for the first month. After the message limit (200) is reached subsequent messages will be charged at the normal rate per message. Charges apply for SMS messages to other networks. Messages to a list of people through Group SMS are charged as a separate message for each user on the list. SMS Services are not available to all networks.

12. Voicemail
Access to Voicemail services is free for the first month. Standard call charges and flag fall apply to calls made using the Ring the Caller function in Voicemail.
