This is a standard Omni Directional BTS / Tower.
This is a standard 3 cell Short range tower.
A close up of a 2 Celled Short Range tower, You can also see the Nokia Microwave link dish at the top of the picture.
This is a Smaller 2 celled Long rang tower.
Omni Directional towers usually get upgraded to Directional, This one is being upgraded to short rang 2 antenna per cell medium power tower.
A close up of the tower headframe at Runaway Bay (Gold Coast,QLD). This site has my favourite Medium range antennas. Unfortunately they are being phased out. The tower is also different to what it looks like now. From memory it was changed to short range antennas quite a while ago.
