Here are the 3 Main types of antenna used by VodaFone on there towers.
This is a close up shot of VodaFones long rang antennas. They are very high gain around 15-19 dB. The side reflecters can be adjuested to give custermized radiation pattions!
This is a close up pic of VodaFones Medium range antenna. Very good all rounder, But , unfortunately, it is being phased out :-(. This is my most favourite antenna or VodaFones. Around 12-15 dB Gain.
This is a close up of VodaFones NEW (Short range) antenna (Andrews, very easy confused with the RFS Dual Polarisation antenna. As they look VERY simular). Its use on most NEW and towers that are being upgraded from the Medium range antenna.
Here are the NEW Bi-Polar or Dual polarisation Antennas
Andrews Dual polarisation antenner. This one works the best out of the 2. (Short to Medium range)
Here is a close up of the RFS Dual Polarisation antenna. The easiest was to tell them apart from the Andrews antenna is tha the RFS has a electrical down tilt dial/knob on the back of the antenna. (Short Range)
