Welcome to Tim's and John's VMON Complete GSM Data Logger Project Page

Well here it is! Many years of hard work have been put into developing this. But it is here in prototype form (Yes it works too!!) It is a complete and autonomous GSM Data / Performance Logger designed specifically for car install (12V only required). The software is provided as Shareware. The hardware is a priority system which unfortunately cost a bit of money to build. Approx cost for each unit is $1000. My hope is to one day have one in each state so I can use the data from them to improve my page. Hence overcoming the problem of me just being 1 person :-). This is why this is THE next big step for my page.

I'm looking for "expressions of interest" for anyone that is interested in the project.

John has helped me allot on the Software side. I'm a hardware guy. So he has done all the software. I owe him allot. As it has been a dream of mine for the least 7 years.. And now it is a reality! :-)

26/02/04 Hello all, I'm in the process of building another 4 prototype Version 3's (I have most parts for at least 2). Money is the limiting factor.. then time. But hopefully soon I will be able to deploy them to other states :-) V 3's are heaps smaller (and more expensive as a result), and more robust then  V 1's and V 2's.

Also soon the software that runs the loggers will be available to download for anyone else that would like to build there own version of the logger.
