WAP / WAP via GPRS
WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) is a way to view web pages on your phone. There are limitations to this as the pages are very simple due to the screen size on the mobile. Never the less WAP is useful. The only other area is speed and cost. Speed is quite low (9600BPS) but as the Pages (WML, like HTML) are quite small in size this isn't a problem. Cost is quite high.. conceding the data is simple, But be cause it is very accessible (as long as you have coverage) and convenient. This is were the cost balances out.
VodaFone WAP DOES allow you to view other WAP sites on the net. You ARE NOT limited to the VodaFone WAP site.
Here are the settings you will need. You must register with vodafone internet (Call 1300 30 10 30) before you can use it .
